Animal Communication Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question? You're not alone. Here are answers to the questions I hear most often before someone books a session.
-
All sessions are held virtually through Google Meet (similar to Zoom). Because online animal communication isn't limited by physical distance, I work with clients and animal companions from around the world. You and your animal companion do not need to be in the same location during the session.
-
I offer professional animal communication sessions for people who want a deeper understanding of their animal companions. My sessions are available for dogs, cats, horses, farm animals, birds, exotic pets, and other animals—whether they are living or have passed into spirit.
During a session, I connect intuitively with your animal to help explore topics such as:
Behavior concerns
Emotional well-being
Changes in the home or family
Relationships with people or other animals
Health and wellness concerns (from an intuitive perspective and never as a substitute for veterinary care)
End-of-life support and hospice guidance
Communication with animals who have passed
Finding lost pets (when appropriate)
Understanding your animal's life purpose, personality, and unique perspective
Sessions are available by phone or Google Meet, with in-person appointments available by request for clients in the Port Townsend and the Olympic Peninsula area.
My goal is to help strengthen the bond between you and your animal through compassionate, respectful communication that offers insight, healing, and greater understanding.
-
Every session is unique because every animal has their own personality, perspective, and way of communicating.
We begin by talking briefly about what the session will look like. I then connect intuitively with your animal and share the thoughts, feelings, images, emotions, or messages I receive. Throughout the session, I encourage you to respond with "yes," "no," or "maybe" as we explore the information together.
Animals often share insights about their emotions, relationships, preferences, behaviors, life experiences, and the people they love. They may also offer their own wisdom, humor, or unique perspective on situations in their lives.
You are welcome to ask questions throughout the session. Common topics include behavior changes, emotional well-being, introducing new animals, end-of-life support, connecting with animals who have passed, or simply gaining a deeper understanding of your companion.
Sessions are conducted in a relaxed, respectful, and judgment-free environment. My intention is to help strengthen the bond between you and your animal by creating greater understanding, compassion, and connection.
Please note that animal communication is an intuitive practice and is not a substitute for veterinary care, medical treatment, diagnosis, or behavioral training. If your animal has a medical concern, I always recommend consulting a licensed veterinarian.

Getting started is easy!
Schedule your session using my online booking calendar.
After booking, you'll receive a confirmation email with all the details for your appointment.
You don't need to tell me anything about your animal compaion.
Before we meet, take a few moments to think about any questions or topics you'd like to explore. You are welcome to write them down.
At your scheduled time, we'll connect by phone or Google Meet (or in person, if we've pre-arranged).
You don't need to prepare your animal in any special way. Animals choose how they would like to participate, and I approach every session with respect, compassion, and an open heart.
Whether you're seeking guidance, reassurance, healing, or simply a deeper connection with your animal companion, I look forward to sharing this experience with you.
-
Very little.
In fact, I prefer to know as little as possible before we meet. Knowing very little helps me approach every session with an open mind and allows me to receive information without being influenced by details about you or your animal companion.
The only things I need are:
Your animal companion's name
A recent photo (if they are living)
Whether they are living or in spirit
Any specific questions or areas you'd like to explore (optional)
Many people worry they need to prepare or give me their animal's history. You don't. We'll simply begin the conversation together and allow your animal companion to share what they feel is most important.
I have found that approaching each session this way creates the clearest and most authentic connection.
-
Every animal communicator has their own unique approach. While I absolutely help clients understand what their animal companions are thinking, feeling, and experiencing, my sessions go beyond simply receiving messages.
I believe every animal companion comes into our lives for a reason. They are more than beloved friends—they are teachers, guides, mirrors, and partners on our journey. During our time together, we explore not only what your animal companion wants to communicate, but also the deeper purpose of your relationship, the soul-level connection you share, and the lessons you are here to discover together.
Many clients leave with answers to the questions they came with, but they also leave with something unexpected—a deeper understanding of why this particular animal companion is part of their life and how your journey together is helping both of you grow.
-
You can ask almost anything! Every session is guided by your questions, your animal's willingness to communicate, and what they feel is most important to share.
Some common topics include:
Why has my animal's behavior changed?
Is there something they're trying to tell me?
Are they happy?
How do they feel about another pet or family member?
What are they afraid of?
Why are they anxious or stressed?
Is there anything they need from me?
How can I better support them?
How are they adjusting to a move, new baby, or other life change?
What is their favorite activity or place?
How do they feel about training, travel, or daily routines?
Is now the right time to welcome another animal into our family?
What would they like me to know before they transition?
Sometimes your animal answers exactly what you've asked. Other times, they choose to share something entirely unexpected that turns out to be exactly what you needed to hear. I always honor your animal's free will and communicate the messages they choose to share with honesty, compassion, and respect.
There are no "perfect" questions. Come with curiosity, an open heart, and a desire to better understand your animal companion. Together, we'll explore whatever is most meaningful for both of you.
-
No. You do not need to believe in animal communication or intuition—or even fully understand it—to have a meaningful session.
Many of my clients come to their animal communication session with an open mind but plenty of questions. Some are curious, some are skeptical, and others simply love their animals and want to explore a different way of connecting with them. All are welcome.
My invitation is simply to approach the experience with curiosity rather than expectation. Listen to the messages, notice what resonates, and decide for yourself what feels meaningful. My role is to communicate what I receive with honesty, compassion, and integrity.
Whether you leave the session with confirmation, new insights, healing, or simply a deeper appreciation for your relationship with your animal, my hope is that you feel supported and more connected than when you arrived.
-
This is one of the most common questions I receive, and it's a thoughtful one.
Animal communication is an intuitive spiritual practice, and each person's experience is unique. Rather than asking you to simply believe what I share, I encourage you to listen with an open mind and decide for yourself what feels meaningful and accurate.
Throughout the session, I invite you to respond with "yes," "no," or "maybe" as I share what I receive. Often, animal companions communicate details about their personalities, relationships, preferences, experiences, or behaviors that you recognize immediately. Other messages may not make sense until later, and occasionally an animal companion will share something that is meaningful to another member of the family.
My goal is never to convince you of anything. My role is to communicate what I receive with honesty, compassion, and integrity, while honoring your animal companion's unique perspective and free will.
Whether a session brings confirmation, comfort, healing, or a new way of understanding your relationship, I hope it helps deepen the bond you share with your animal companion. I encourage every client to trust their own heart, intuition, and experience when reflecting on the messages they receive.
-
In my experience, every animal communicates in their own unique way. Some are incredibly talkative and eager to share, while others are quieter, more reserved, or communicate through emotions, sensations, images, or simple feelings rather than words.
I always approach each session with patience, respect, and without expectations. I honor your animal's free will and never force communication. If they choose not to answer a particular question or prefer to focus on something else, I will share that honestly.
Sometimes the messages are exactly what you expected. Other times, your animal brings forward something completely unexpected that becomes the most meaningful part of the session.
My role is simply to listen, interpret, and communicate what I receive with integrity and compassion.
-
Yes. I believe every animal companion has their own unique way of communicating, regardless of species. I welcome the opportunity to connect with animals from all walks of life and approach each session with curiosity, respect, and compassion.
Over the years, I have communicated with a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, alpacas, sheep, goats, birds, wolves, wolf dogs, coyotes, bears, porcupines, and many other domestic, farm, wild, and exotic animals. Each species—and each individual animal—has its own personality, perspective, and wisdom to share.
Whether your animal companion is a beloved family member, a working animal, a farm animal, a rescued wildlife ambassador, or an animal who has passed into spirit, I honor them as an individual and meet them with the same openness and respect.
Every session is unique because every animal companion is unique. My role is simply to listen, interpret what I receive, and share their messages with honesty, compassion, and integrity.
-
Yes. I believe that the bond we share with our animals continues beyond their physical lives, and I am honored to offer sessions with animals who have passed away.
Many people seek these sessions to find comfort, healing, closure, or simply to reconnect with a beloved companion. During a session, your animal may share memories, messages, their perspective on your time together, or simply the love they continue to hold for you.
Every experience is unique. Just as with living animals, I cannot predict what an animal will choose to communicate. I approach each session with respect, compassion, and an open heart, allowing your animal to share what they feel is most meaningful.
Whether you are grieving a recent loss or reconnecting with a cherished companion from years ago, my intention is to create a safe, supportive space where healing, understanding, and love can unfold.
-
No. Your animal companion does not need to be physically with you for an animal communication session.
Animal communication is an intuitive form of communication that is not limited by distance. Whether your animal is at home, at a boarding facility, with a family member, at the veterinarian, or even living in another state or country, I am able to connect with them during our scheduled session.
Many of my clients book sessions while they are at work, traveling, or when their horse is at a boarding stable. Others schedule sessions with animals who have passed into spirit. Physical proximity is not necessary for me to establish an intuitive connection.
If your animal companion is available, you are welcome to have them nearby during our session, but it is not required. Some animals choose to stay close, while others continue their normal activities. Each animal participates in their own unique way.
My role is to respectfully connect with your animal, share the thoughts, emotions, images, and messages I receive, and help deepen the understanding and bond between you—no matter where your animal is physically located.
-
Yes. You are welcome to ask questions about your animal companion's health and well-being during our session.
Animals often share their thoughts, feelings, emotions, and experiences related to what they are going through. They may communicate how they are feeling, what brings them comfort, or what they would like you to understand about their experience. These insights can provide a deeper understanding of your animal companion and help strengthen the bond you share.
However, animal communication is an intuitive spiritual practice and is not a substitute for veterinary care. I do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatments, or replace the advice of a licensed veterinarian.
If I receive information related to your animal companion's physical or emotional well-being, I will share it with honesty and compassion. I encourage you to use those insights as one piece of the larger picture and to discuss any medical concerns with your veterinarian.
My intention is always to support you and your animal companion by fostering greater understanding, connection, and informed care.
-
Preparing for your session is simple.
You don't need to do much! In fact, I prefer to know very little about your animal beforehand so that the communication is as unbiased and authentic as possible.
I encourage you to spend a few quiet moments thinking about your animal and writing down any questions or topics you'd like to discuss. While it's helpful to have a list, remain open to whatever your animal chooses to share. They often bring forward messages that are deeply meaningful and sometimes unexpected.
You do not need to explain the session to your animal or ask them for permission beforehand. I will respectfully connect with them at the time of your appointment, and they always have the freedom to communicate in their own way.
Choose a quiet, comfortable place where you can relax without interruptions. Have a notebook nearby if you'd like to jot down thoughts.
The most important thing you can bring is an open heart and a sense of curiosity. Together, we'll create a compassionate space to deepen the understanding and connection between you and your animal.
-
That's perfectly okay. In fact, many of the most meaningful animal communication sessions begin without a list of questions.
Some people schedule a session simply because they want to deepen their relationship with their animal companion, better understand them, or hear whatever their animal wishes to share.
If you don't have specific questions, I will begin by connecting with your animal companion and inviting them to communicate what feels most important. Animals often share their thoughts, emotions, preferences, experiences, or messages that are meaningful to both of you.
As the session unfolds, questions naturally arise, and you're always welcome to ask them at any time.
Whether you come with a page full of questions or simply an open heart and a desire to connect, your session will unfold in the way that best serves you and your animal companion.
